Chris Baggett

Chris Baggett is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs and public relations within the pharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Associate Director of State Government & External Affairs at Takeda since June 2022, Chris leads state government affairs activities across the Midwest. Prior to this role, Chris held various leadership positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, including Director of Community Affairs and Director of Federal Government Affairs, overseeing community outreach, political strategies, and PAC operations. Early career experience encompasses roles at the American Forest & Paper Association and the Edison Electric Institute, among others, showcasing a strong foundation in political and grassroots advocacy. Chris holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Auburn University.
