Ciara Young

Ciara Young is an experienced engineer specializing in biotherapeutics process development at Takeda since June 2022, having previously held the role of Engineer II in the same department. Prior experience includes a position as a Critical Care Analytical Intern at Werfen, where programming a multivariate classification model in Python and performing analytical characterization of spectra were key responsibilities. At Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Ciara Young conducted undergraduate research on Staphylococcus epidermidis biofilm growth and contributed to a process validation internship at Takeda, focusing on risk assessment and process improvement. Additional experience includes an actuarial internship and customer service position, supporting a well-rounded background in engineering and analysis. Ciara Young earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2022.
