Daniel Carusi

Daniel Carusi is an experienced professional with a strong background in operational excellence and manufacturing sciences. At Takeda from January 2021 to May 2025, Daniel served as Operational Excellence Manager, focusing on Lean Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies, and previously held the role of Senior Engineer where responsibilities included being the primary Subject Matter Expert for protein purification. Earlier experience includes a role as Engineer II, supporting manufacturing processes, and a practice school internship at Shell that involved refining predictive analytics for operational efficiency. Daniel also has marketing experience from an internship with the YMCA of Metro Atlanta and a summer internship at Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, Inc. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University, obtained in May 2017.
