Ian King

Ian King currently serves as the VP Head of Commercial Quality at Takeda, having joined the company in April 2017. With thirty years of experience in pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) roles, Ian has extensive expertise in manufacturing, distribution, third-party management, and commercial operations. Prior to Takeda, Ian held multiple leadership positions at Sandoz and Pfizer, focusing on quality assurance and operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Ian's earlier career includes roles at Merck Sharpe & Dohme and SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Ian holds a BSc Hons degree in Chemistry from Kingston University.
