Janet Danforth is the Director of Scientific Communications for US Medical Affairs. They have held multiple roles at Takeda, including Associate Director of Medical Communications and various positions in Medical Information and Review from 2015. Prior to their tenure at Takeda, they worked as a Research Associate at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago from 1997 to 2003. Janet is currently pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, alongside a Master of Science in Basic Medical Sciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alma College.
