Jim Silva

Jim Silva, CPA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Associate Director in the R&D Finance Group at Takeda, overseeing Takeda Ventures and the Center for External Innovation since September 2023. Previously, Jim held the role of Associate Director and Controller at Takeda Ventures, Inc. from September 2021 to September 2023, as well as a Senior Manager position. Prior to Takeda, Jim worked at PwC for over five years, progressing from Assurance Intern to Assurance Manager, specializing in areas such as alternative investments. Early career experiences include an Audit and Tax Intern role at DiCicco, Gulman & Company, and a Portfolio Accountant position at Boston Financial Investment Management. Jim's educational background includes a BSBA in Accounting and Finance, along with a minor in Law and Public Policy from Northeastern University, complemented by studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2014.
