Madeline Shipton

Madeline Shipton possesses extensive experience in R&D finance, currently serving as Associate Director R&D Finance at Takeda since January 2019, after the company's acquisition of Shire where Shipton held various roles including Manager and Senior Manager in R&D Finance. Prior to Takeda, Shipton worked at Shire, Baxalta, and Baxter International in multiple financial analyst roles, gaining expertise in financial auditing, reporting, and risk management during rotations in the Financial Leadership Program. Early career experience includes internships in finance and marketing at Eli Lilly and Company, Delta Dental Plans Association, and other organizations. Madeline Shipton holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a studied finance and marketing at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
