Mark Chen

Mark Chen is an experienced professional in the field of biomedicine, currently serving as an Associate Director at Takeda since June 2022. Prior to this role, Mark held multiple positions at Genentech from July 2012 to July 2022, including Research Lead for the Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) program and Senior Scientific Researcher. Mark's earlier experience includes a role as a Scientist at FFA Sciences LLC and a Post Doctoral Fellow at UCSD, following the completion of a Ph.D. in Cell Signaling from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mark also holds a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
