Mercedes Echauri

Mercedes Echauri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in market access, pricing, and strategic leadership within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the VP, Head of Global Pricing, Access, and Tendering for the Plasma Division at Takeda since January 2019, Echauri previously held significant roles at Shire as VP of Market Access for Europe and Canada and at Laboratorios SALVAT as a Board member. Prior to these positions, Echauri contributed to Novartis over nearly three decades, ascending to high-level roles including Cluster Head for South Europe Vaccines and General Manager for Novartis Vaccines Iberia. Echauri's educational background includes a PDD in Management from IESE Business School and a Licenciado in Pharmacy from Universitat de Barcelona.
