Sanjay Patel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in innovation, business services, and finance across various industries. Currently serving as SVP & Global Head of Innovation Capability Solutions and SVP & Global Head of Takeda Business Solutions at Takeda, Sanjay has previously held significant leadership roles at British American Tobacco as Group Head of Global Business Services and at Rio Tinto as Global Head of Business Services & Support. Additional experience includes positions at Merck, where Sanjay served as Executive Director for Shared Business Services in EMEA and Asia Pacific & Japan, and earlier roles at PwC as Senior Auditor. Sanjay holds an FCPA in Accounting and Finance from the CPA Australia Program and a Bachelor of Commerce from James Cook University.
