Sean McCarthy

Sean McCarthy is an experienced leader in change management and organizational development, currently serving as the Head of R&D Quality Learning Innovation at Takeda since November 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing AI technology integration and change management in R&D. Prior to Takeda, Sean held several prominent roles, including Senior Change Management Lead at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, where oversight of digital technology change management was key. Sean's extensive background includes management roles at Cognizant focused on Oracle Cloud Transformation and a distinguished 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, which featured leadership in various operational and strategic capacities. Sean holds a BS in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, an MBA in International Business from the University of New Hampshire, and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
