Sumito Soichi

Sumito Soichi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Reimbursement & Access at Takeda since April 2013. Sumito has held various leadership roles, including Head of Business Operation/Chief of Staff for Takeda Poland, where responsibilities included acting as a liaison between the General Manager and the management team, ensuring effective business operations and project portfolio management. Prior experience encompasses roles such as Associate Director of Business Development, where Sumito managed alliances for multiple commercialized products and led significant divestiture projects, as well as founding a digital health venture in collaboration with BCG Digital Ventures. Educational credentials include an MBA from IE Business School, an exchange program at the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance from Hiroshima University.
