Vanessa Milost

Vanessa Milost has a diverse and extensive work experience. Their most recent position is as a Reforestation Project Manager at Taking Root, starting in 2022.

Prior to that, they worked at Aplica! Prep from 2016 to the present, where they served as the Operations Director and Co-Founder. In this role, they successfully launched multiple consultancy models and scholarship programs, overseeing a team of advisors and managing various aspects of the operations. Vanessa also received the Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection Female Founder Award in 2019.

Vanessa also held positions at SkyHive from 2020 to 2022, starting as a Business Analyst and then progressing to a Project Manager and later a Senior Project Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for delivering SaaS products to clients and ensuring the adherence to Agile methodology.

Before that, they worked at Odessa as a Business Analyst and later as a Senior Business Analyst from 2014 to 2018, leading client engagements and serving as an expert for the LeaseWave system.

Vanessa's earlier experiences include being a Teaching Assistant at Bryn Mawr College, a Summer Associate at Agora Partnerships, an Intern at Asociación Civil Mujeres 2000, and an Intern at the Ministry of Agriculture of Brazil. Vanessa Milost earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and International Studies from Bryn Mawr College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Phillips Exeter Academy for a summer school program in 2009. Vanessa completed their high school education at Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre from 2003 to 2009. Recently, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Studies from Simon Fraser University, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020.
