Vani Mittal

Vani Mittal is a Junior Engagement Manager at Takshashila Consulting. Vani has previously worked as a software engineer at Medma Infomatix Pvt Ltd. and as a research intern at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.

Mittal has a background in conducting secondary research to collect data, analyzing it using R, Excel and SPSS, and drawing insights from it. Vani also has experience in creating detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.

During their time as a research intern, Mittal completed a project on sentiment analysis of the twitter database (product reviews, policy reviews) using programming software R. Vani also implemented various knowledge-based methods (text mining practice like feature selection and weighting methods) and machine learning technique (classification process). The analysis they performed on many datasets led to concrete outcomes in the form of graphs, plots and comparison clouds, suggesting this method could be used for further study in research.

Vani Mittal has a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Information Technology from Banasthali Vidyapith and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology from the College of Engineering Roorkee.
