TAKT is an independent concert promoter based in Vienna, dedicated to transdisciplinary performance formats that blend classical music, performance art, movement, text, and installation. Founded in 2022 by two artists seeking to break free from traditional structures, TAKT is a space where bold ideas, artistic innovation, and urgent social questions intersect. Our curated events don’t simply present different art forms side by side; they intertwine, challenge, and elevate one another to create something new. Over our first two concert seasons, we’ve hosted twelve unique evenings that reimagined the concert format, inviting experimentation, risk-taking, and a shared space of curiosity between artists and audiences. At TAKT, collaboration and dialogue are at the core of everything we do. We are committed to creating an environment where all voices are invited, respected, and heard. We prioritize accessibility, anti-discrimination, and a cultural landscape that reflects the complexity of the world we live in.
