James Connors has extensive experience in public affairs and government relations, with a career spanning over 15 years. Starting as a Public Affairs Adviser at Medibank Private from June 2006 to September 2010, James developed media strategies and fostered relationships with influential media figures. After several roles at Medibank, including Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations Manager, James advanced to positions at MLC Life Insurance as Senior Consultant Government and Policy, and currently serves as Head of Corporate and Government Affairs at TAL Australia since May 2021. James holds a Diploma of Management from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Studies and International Relations from Deakin University. Additionally, James pursued Economics at the University of Tasmania.
