Samer Fouani has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Samer is currently serving as the Head of Cyber Transformation and Identity Access Management at TAL Australia since November 2021. Prior to this, they held several positions at Commonwealth Bank, including Executive Manager in Cyber Security, Regulatory Response, and Better Risk Outcomes. Samer also served as a Program Manager for Virtual Workforce 2020, Senior Organizational Change Manager for Digital Workplace in Enterprise Services, and Organizational Change Manager for large programs. Samer Fouani started their career as a Bank Teller and gradually progressed to roles in Human Resources, Campaign, and Intranet Advisory.
Samer Fouani's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management and Government Business Relations from the University of Sydney, obtained from 1999 to 2003. In 2010, they completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from TAFE NSW, focusing on adult learning design, facilitation, and capability assessment. In 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Currently, Samer is pursuing an Executive Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, expected to be completed by 2023. Samer also has an upcoming certification, the RSAC CISO Boot Camp from RSA Conference, which they will obtain in 2023.
