Chiao Cheng

Chiao Cheng is the SVP of Finance at Tala. Cheng has over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Cheng started their career as an Account Manager at ARC International Corp, where they were responsible for managing the company's finances. After a year at ARC, Cheng transitioned to SingerLewak LLP, where they worked as a Senior Auditor. At SingerLewak, Cheng was responsible for leading teams of auditors and presenting findings to clients' executive boards.

In 2012, Cheng left SingerLewak to join Creative Technology as an Assistant Controller. At Creative Technology, Cheng was responsible for overseeing the company's financial reporting. In 2015, Cheng joined DogVacay as the Controller. At DogVacay, Cheng was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations.

In 2017, Cheng left DogVacay to join Tala as the SVP of Finance. At Tala, Cheng is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations.

Chiao Cheng has a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a focus in international business and finance. Chiao also has a bachelor's degree in accounting from California State University, Los Angeles - College of Business and Economics. In addition, they are certified as a public accountant by the California Board of Accountancy.

Chiao Cheng reports to Jen Loo, CFO.
