Mostafa Ahmed

Mostafa Ahmed is a skilled data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at talabat since November 2021, Mostafa has developed a widely-adopted ETL framework that enhances data handling and quality for reporting. Prior to this role, Mostafa worked at Speakol from March 2017 to November 2021 as a Data Scientist and Software Engineer, where the creation of a recommendation engine led to a notable 150% increase in click-through rates. Mostafa also achieved first place in the Egyptian Big Data Hackathon 2017 organized by IBM and Teradata, demonstrating proficiency in algorithm development for product offers. Mostafa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Suez Canal University, completed in 2016.
