Zuhair Abbas

Zuhair Abbas is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile app development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at talabat since June 2023, Zuhair previously held senior roles at Sabbar, Truck It In, Jeeny, Norgic AB, and VentureDive. At Sabbar, Zuhair specialized in Android native and Flutter app development, implementing modular architecture and CI/CD pipelines. As the Lead Android Engineer at Truck It In, Zuhair focused on technology to streamline road freight logistics. At Jeeny, responsibilities included establishing the foundational architecture for the driver-facing app. Zuhair's earlier projects include significant contributions to the Athan app, which has garnered millions of users, and the Android app for Careem, a leading ride-hailing service in the Middle East. Zuhair holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, obtained in 2015.
