Shadon B. has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. They started their career as a Public Policy Associate at the Tahirih Justice Center in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Foreign Language Teacher at UNIMINUTO Bello - Centro Progresa and then took on the role of Regional Programme Coordinator at the Colombian Ministry of National Education from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Spanish Instructor at Fluent City until 2021. During this time, they also worked as an English Teacher at Magic Ears from 2015 to 2021. From 2019 to 2021, Shadon served as the Experiential Education Programme Coordinator at FIE: Foundation for International Education. They also worked as a Business English Teacher at Talaera from 2019 till date. In 2021, they took on the role of a Researcher at the National Foundation for Educational Research. They then became the Peace Programmes Manager at One Young World from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Shadon B. is working as an EdTech Project Manager - Global Human Rights Education at Amnesty International since 2022.
Shadon B. holds a Master's degree in Educational Planning, Economics, and International Development from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, which was obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to this, Shadon B. completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Global Studies from The University of Texas at Austin between 2011 and 2013. Before pursuing higher education, Shadon B. attended the University of North Texas from 2008 to 2010, where the specific degree obtained is not provided, but they studied in the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science.
