Maria Fabiana Torrealba

Maria Fabiana Torrealba has a wealth of experience in finance and foreign trade operations. Maria Fabiana currently serves as the Finance Operations Director for Talana since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Foreign Trade Leader Chile for Newell Brands from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as the Treasurer - Financial Planning & Accounting Leader for Fraunhofer Chile, where they were responsible for financial control checkpoint through the performance of technical and financial relevance revision in public and private funds acquisitions issued by researchers. Maria Fabiana also managed all imports and exports procedures for both of Centers of International Excellence (CEI) and conducted both local and national payments. From 2013 to 2016, Maria held the role of Foreign Trade Sr. Analyst at Newell Brands, where they handled shipment booking and coordination according to the nature of goods, incoterm, via and urgency. Maria Fabiana also tracked and traced all shipments and handled shipping docs request and submission to Custom broker. Maria's first job was an Accounts Payable Intern at RR Donnelley from 2012 to 2013, where they were responsible for booking of Purchase orders and Payment orders, expenses reports and invoices, and outstanding accounts analysis.

Maria Fabiana Torrealba obtained their Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública from Universidad de Carabobo in 2014. Maria Fabiana then went on to pursue a Diplomatura in Gerencia de Logística Estratégica from the same university in 2015. In 2019, they earned a 6 Sigma Yellow Belt from 6SIGMAstudy - The global certification body for six sigma certifications. Later that year, they received a Lean Logistics certification from Lean Six Sigma Institute LLC. In 2021, they were awarded a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Lean Six Sigma Institute LATAM.
