Jan Wicke

Jan Wicke has extensive work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Jan started their career at DG Capital as a Handlungsbevollmächtigter from June 1993 to June 1997. Jan then joined AXA as a Vorstand Finanzen, Ausland (DBV Winterthur) before becoming the Leiter Betriebswirtschaft und Controlling from August 1997 to June 2007. Wicke then moved to Wüstenrot & Württembergische as a Vorstand (CFO/CRO) from August 2007 to April 2014. In May 2014, they joined HDI Group as the CEO of HDI Germany until September 2020. Currently, Wicke holds the position of CFO at Talanx AG.

Jan Wicke earned a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg in the period from 1988 to 1993. Jan further pursued their education at the same university, completing a PhD in Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften between 1993 and 1997.
