Simone Auer

Simone Auer has a strong background in risk management and actuarial work. They started their career in 2005 at Hannover Rück-Gruppe, where they held the role of Actuary/Risk Manager until December 2015. From January 2016 to June 2022, Simone served as the General Manager of Dynamic Financial Analysis at Hannover Rück-Gruppe. They then joined Talanx in 2022 as the Deputy Chief Risk Officer. In May 2023, Simone was promoted to the position of Chief Risk Officer at Talanx.

Simone Auer attended the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2000 to 2005. Simone obtained a degree in Wirtschaftsmathematik and became a Diplom Mathematikerin. Simone also has additional certifications as an Aktuarin DAV and CERA (Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary) from the Deutsche Aktuarvereinigung e.V.
