Hong Xu

Hong Xu's work experience includes being a Principal Scientist at Talaris Therapeutics since April 2021, a Senior QC Scientist at Talaris Therapeutics from March 2019 to April 2021, an Adjunct Gratis Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, University of Louisville School of Medicine since November 2019, an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville from June 2007 to February 2019, a Research Immunologist at the University of Louisville from October 2001 to May 2007, and a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Louisville from July 1999 to October 2001. Throughout their career, Hong Xu has worked on establishing mouse models for bone marrow transplantation and studying the role of donor T cell engraftment in tolerance induction. They have also studied the prevention and reversion of autoimmune diabetes through allogeneic stem cell engraftment.

Hong Xu earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Clinical Medicine from Beijing Medical University in Beijing, China.
