Porus Prakash is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Structured Credit at Talcott Financial Group since October 2022, focusing on MBS Credit, CLOs, CMBS, ABS, and private bespoke investments. Prior to this role, Porus worked at KKR & Co. Inc. from February 2021 to September 2022, specializing in structured credit investments as part of the Global Atlantic acquisition, with responsibilities for operations and risk management for an $8 billion portfolio. Porus also served as a Portfolio Manager for Global Atlantic Financial Group from May 2016 to January 2021, overseeing a $6 billion CLO/CBO structured credit business. Earlier experience includes working at BlackRock from August 2010 to April 2016 in various roles related to structured credit, including Junior Portfolio Manager and Risk & Quantitative Analysis Associate, and a Summer Analyst position at J.P. Morgan in 2009. Porus holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from Cornell University, completed in 2010.
