Brian Doig

Brian Doig is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in retail and energy accounting. Currently serving as the Retail Accounting Manager at Talen Energy since December 2019, Brian manages the full accounting close cycle for the Talen Retail electric business and prepares estimates for unbilled revenues and expenses. Prior to this, Brian held several positions at NRG Energy from December 2011 to December 2019, including Accounting Manager for Distributed Energy Resources and Manager of Retail Gross Margin Accounting, where responsibilities included accounting for demand response and retail commodity businesses across multiple markets. Brian began the career as a Senior Accountant at Reliant Energy from January 2007 to December 2011, focusing on revenue and expense analyses. Brian holds an MBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University and a BS in Accountancy from the University of Houston.
