Dean Bickerstaff

Dean Bickerstaff has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently holding the position of Vice President and Managing Director at Talen Energy since November 2020, where also engaged in trading. Prior roles include serving as a Trader at Hartree Partners from September 2016 to May 2020 and as a Portfolio Manager at Panda Power Funds from May 2015 to September 2016. Dean began a career in energy at Constellation Energy, where roles spanned from Senior Wholesale Trader to Associate - Transmission Engineer from 2006 to April 2014. Additional experience includes working as an Operations Engineer at Baltimore Gas & Electric from December 2001 to April 2005. Educationally, Dean holds an MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
