Doug Lamarca

Doug LaMarca is a seasoned professional in the energy industry with extensive experience in strategic planning and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Planning at Talen Energy since December 2021, Doug previously held various leadership roles at Susquehanna Nuclear (PPL -- Talen Energy) from January 2003 to December 2021, including Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager for Shift and Training, Shift Manager, and Unit Supervisor. Prior to that, Doug was the Operations Director, Operations Manager, and Maintenance Superintendent at Nepera Inc between 1998 and 2003. Doug began a career as a Submarine Warfare Officer and Certified Training Specialist in the US Navy from 1991 to January 1998. Educationally, Doug holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
