Petri Sandström

Petri Sandström has a diverse work experience in various software engineering and design roles. Petri currently works as the Chief Software Architect at Talenom since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Architect at Talenom from January to December 2021. Before joining Talenom, Petri was a Software Architect at Etteplan MORE from January 2019 to December 2020, where they gained experience in Internet of Things (IoT), SaaS, IaaS, and various other technologies. Petri worked as a Software Architect at Soikea from January 2017 to December 2018, focusing on IoT projects related to Microsoft Azure and .NET technology stack. Petri also worked as a Senior System Designer at Soikea from January 2015 to December 2016, where they were involved in building a large-scale Time-Series Data System and its Integrations. Prior to that, Petri worked as a Senior System Designer at Oy Samlink Ab from January 2014 to January 2015. Petri began their career as a System Designer at Samcom Oy from May 2010 to December 2013. Petri'searlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at Ouman Oy from January to July 2008, where they contributed to projects involving Java, Swing, and AES technologies. Throughout their career, Petri has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and tools, including Microsoft technologies, ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, and more.

Petri Sandström obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Jyväskylä, from 2007 to 2011. Petri then pursued further education at the same university and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their academic achievements, Petri Sandström has also obtained professional certifications, including the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert" from Microsoft in September 2019, and the "Professional Scrum Master I" from Scrum.org in June 2013.
