Luis Sottomayor

Luis Maria Sottomayor is the Founder and CEO of TALENT PORTUGAL, a community established to connect candidates with leading employer brands and enhance best practices in Employer Branding and Talent Attraction since April 2015. Previously, Luis served as Business Development Director at SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, focusing on IT and energy integrated solutions, and was a Board Member at EUROCLOUD Portugal Association, where leadership was provided for the ATLANTIC nearshore project. Experience also includes roles as Director of Northern Delegation at REDITUS SA and Business Development Manager at Altran Portugal, alongside early career work as Project Director at Silvapor. Luis holds an MBA in Executive International Commerce from Católica Porto Business School, an Erasmus degree in Geographical Information Systems from Ecole d'Ingenieurs de PURPAN, and a Licentiate in Forest Engineering from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.
