Dave Banns has over 10 years of experience in the recruitment industry. Dave began their career in 2001 as the Business Education & Info Tech Department Head, Athletic Director, and Teacher at Frank Hurt Secondary School. In 2005, they joined MDLogical Ltd. as an Executive Search Consultant. In 2008, they were a Senior Consultant at David Aplin Recruiting for Engineering, Construction & Technical. In 2010, they began working at TalentClick Workforce Solutions as a Partner and at The Headhunters Recruitment Inc. as Principal.

Dave Banns attended Simon Fraser University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. In 2000 and 2001, they also earned a BC Teaching Diploma in Secondary Education from the same university. In 2002 and 2003, they went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
