Jens Christian Borgen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jens Christian began their career as a self-employed individual at Borgen Trade & Finance in 1999. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a Squad Leader in the Norwegian Army. Following that, they worked at AIESEC, an international youth organization, where they held various leadership positions such as Chair of CEE GN and Africa GN Director. In 2005, they became the MCP of AIESEC in Norway.

In 2006, Borgen joined IMPAC as a Consultant before moving on to Meltwater Group in 2009. At Meltwater Group, they served as a Sales Consultant, Sales Manager, and finally as a Managing Director. In 2011, they became the Country Manager of Jobylon, a social job portal.

From 2012 to 2013, Borgen worked as a Senior Sales Associate at The Online Backup Company AS. Jens Christian then joined ReachMee Norge in 2013 as Country Manager Norway. ReachMee offers recruitment and hiring solutions, and Borgen played a crucial role in establishing the company as a market leader in the Nordic region.

Most recently, in 2020, Borgen became the CEO of Talentech Norway. Talentech is a merger of multiple HR tech innovators and aims to support and enhance the employee life cycle by providing scalable solutions.

Throughout their career, Borgen has gained valuable experience in leadership, sales, consulting, and management roles, working for both startups and established companies in Norway and internationally.

Jens Christian Borgen completed their secondary education at Askim VGS from 1996 to 2000. Jens Christian then pursued higher education at BI Norwegian Business School, earning a Master of Business and Economics degree from 2002 to 2007.
