Renée Chen

Renée Chen, CPHR, currently serves as a Human Resources Consultant at Metier since August 2023 and has been self-employed as a House Manager since November 2017. Previously, Renée held roles including People and Culture Manager at Kindred Connections Society (April 2022 - August 2023) and Human Resources Advisor at the University of Calgary (October 2014 - October 2017), where consulting services supported strategic HR functions. Renée also acted as a Human Resources Analyst at the Provincial Health Services Authority (August 2011 - June 2014), focusing on employee experience improvements and organizational restructuring, and began as a Staff Records Assistant at The University of British Columbia (December 2010 - August 2011) enhancing operational efficiency. Renée’s early career included a role as an HR Associate in the Bell Mobility Professional Management Program (2009 - 2010). Renée holds a B.A. (HONS) in Communications from the University of Toronto and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College.
