Debra Thorpe

Debra Thorpe has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the staffing industry. Debra currently holds the position of President at TalentLaunch since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at TalentLaunch from January to July 2022.

Before joining TalentLaunch, Thorpe had a long tenure at Kelly, where they held several senior executive positions. Debra'sroles at Kelly included SVP and Operations Advisor (Retired) from January to March 2021, SVP and President of Kelly Professional & Industrial from July 2020 to January 2021, and SVP and General Manager of U.S. Operations from October 2018 to July 2020.

Debra also served as the SVP of Kelly OCG Global Talent Solutions from November 2016 to October 2018, where they were responsible for staffing, CWO, RPO, and PPO operations in the Americas and EMEA regions. Prior to that, they held the role of SVP of Strategic Account Operations from January 2015 to November 2016, overseeing staffing operations for Kelly's largest centralized accounts in the Americas.

Thorpe's tenure at Kelly also included roles such as SVP - Kelly OCG Operations from June 2012 to December 2014, Sr. Vice President of Global Service from January 2011 to June 2012, Vice President of US Operations - Southeast from September 2009 to January 2011, and Vice President and Business Unit Leader responsible for the US IT staffing team from November 2007 to September 2009.

Earlier in their career, Thorpe worked as an industrial engineer at General Motors, Arvin Meritor, and Hi-Lex. Debra progressed to field service and account management roles, where they focused on optimizing processes, analyzing product warranty challenges, and driving customer growth and engagement with large OEM automotive clients.

In addition to their experience in the staffing industry, Thorpe also has leadership experience at Bartech Staffing and Rapid Design Services. At Bartech Staffing, they served as Vice President from September 2002 to September 2006, overseeing the professional and technical staffing division. At Rapid Design Services, they held the role of Vice President from April 1999 to September 2002, leading the technical staffing team and managing branch offices in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Canada.

Debra Thorpe obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Debra completed their education at the university between the years 1980 and 1985.
