Andrei Ionita has a diverse range of work experience in the IT industry. Andrei started their career in 2006 at COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications S.A as an NMC engineer, where they focused on mobile network configuration, troubleshooting, and automation. In 2008, they joined Ericsson Eurolab Deutschland as a Senior System Tester, where they provided end-to-end solutions, performed software development and testing, and offered customer support.

From 2017 to 2020, Andrei worked at OpenText as a Senior Dev-Ops, responsible for maintaining and orchestrating the software cloud environment for customers in AWS. Andrei extensively used Python, Django, SaltStack, Docker, and other tools to automate upgrade and patching procedures. During this time, they also designed and developed a High Availability and Self-Healing complex cloud solution.

In 2020, Andrei joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Technical Account Manager, working with large-scale enterprise customers in the DACH region. Andrei'sresponsibilities included providing architecture guidance, support for critical cases, identifying risks, driving cost optimization, and helping executives expand or optimize their Cloud business or operations.

Most recently, in 2022, Andrei started working as a Senior DevOps at talentsconnect AG, where they continue to utilize their expertise in the field.

Andrei Ionita began their education in 1996 at the International Informatics High-School of Bucharest, where they completed their high school education in the field of Informatics in 2000. Afterward, they attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2000 to 2006, earning an Engineer's Degree in the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Andrei Ionita has obtained several certifications. In December 2011, they received the CCNA certification from Cisco. Later, in December 2014, they obtained the CCNP certification from the same institution. More recently, in December 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), followed by the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification in January 2021, also from AWS.
