Raj Khanna

Raj Khanna, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Raj is currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting at TalentSmartEQ since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Accounting and Finance at Sunday Scaries from December 2021 to November 2022. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance transactions, defining KPIs, and creating financial and operating models.

From June 2019 to November 2021, Raj worked at Signature Analytics as an Accounting Manager. In this position, they managed multiple client engagements, provided strategic guidance, and advised clients on process improvements.

Before that, Raj worked as a Forensic Accountant at Torrey Partners from July 2018 to May 2019, where they assisted clients with investigations, analyzed financial statements, and calculated damages.

Raj started their career at Aronson LLC in 2014, first as an Associate in Assurance Services from September 2014 to June 2016, where they conducted audits and analyzed client performance. Raj then transitioned to a Senior Associate role from October 2016 to June 2018, where they conducted financial audits for SaaS companies.

Raj also gained experience as an Internal Audit Intern at Southern States Cooperative in 2013. Overall, Raj Khanna has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various industries and a focus on strategic decision-making and financial analysis.

Raj Khanna, CPA, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. After completing their undergraduate education, Raj went on to earn two additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant. Raj obtained their first CPA certification from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in December 2015, and their second certification from the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation in February 2016.
