Marjanne Pearson

Chief at Talentstar

Marjanne Pearson has extensive experience in the architecture and design industry. Starting in 1972, they worked as an Administrative Manager at SOM, and later became a Partner at RMW from 1974 to 1982. From 1982 to 1987, they worked as a Consultant at The Coxe Group. In 1987, they joined Talentstar, Inc. as the Chief Strategy Officer, focusing on talent, leadership, communications, and organizational strategies for design firms globally. In 2015, they were appointed as a Member of the Executive Board at SMG, where they chaired the Executive Committee of BLINK Design Group. During their time at BLINK, they also served as a strategic advisor to the company, focusing on leadership and organizational strategy. Marjanne retired from the BLINK Executive Board in 2018, and their role at SMG ended in 2017.

Marjanne Pearson's education history began in 1964 when they enrolled at San Francisco State University. Marjanne attended the university from 1964 to 1968 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Linguistics. After a gap of several years, in 1995 they resumed their education and enrolled in the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Marjanne participated in an Executive Education Program from 1995 to 2004, focusing on "The Talent-Driven Firm: Building a Competitive Advantage." Marjanne's education journey continued in 2011 when they returned to Harvard Graduate School of Design and completed another Executive Education Program, specializing in "The Strategic Agenda: Securing Your Future." Throughout their education, Marjanne has demonstrated a commitment to both linguistics and strategic business planning.
