Lena Nguyen is an author, creating their debut science fiction novel, "WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE," under their own company, lena-nguyen.com. Lena is also developing an interactive fiction game. In 2022, they worked as an editor at EPOCH. Before that, from 2015 to 2017, they served as a lecturer in the English department at Cornell University, teaching courses in English composition, creative writing, and cultural studies.
Lena Nguyen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Creative Writing) and Political Science from Arizona State University in 2014. During their time at ASU, they were enrolled in Barrett, the Honors College. Afterward, Lena pursued further studies and earned a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Fiction from Cornell University, graduating in 2016.
