Hesam Dadafarin, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Hesam is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Tali AI, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they co-founded Evenset Inc. in 2015 and served as a Board Member.

In 2013, Hesam worked as a Software Architect at WasteReduct until April 2015. From September 2008 to September 2013, they were a Research and Teaching Assistant at McGill University, where they conducted an industry-funded project in the electrochemical engineering lab. Hesam invented and developed a surface coating to enhance the characteristics of an underlying alloy and supervised technicians and students.

Hesam also served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Students' Society of McGill University from September 2009 to July 2011. In this role, they monitored all financial matters of the club, directed and forecasted the club's financial position, checked financial records, and raised the annual budget.

Additionally, Hesam worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS from June 2007 to July 2008. Hesam also gained experience as an intern at Codan Rubber Danmark in 2005, where they contributed to quality control in the analytical lab and proposed waste reduction solutions. Hesam also studied in-situ bioremediation techniques to neutralize petrochemical pollutants.

Hesam Dadafarin, PhD, obtained their Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study from the University of Tehran from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics from Sharif University of Technology, graduating in 2008. Continuing their educational journey, Hesam earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from McGill University in an undisclosed field, completing their studies in 2012.
