Lara Stroud

Lara Stroud has a diverse work experience. Lara is currently working as the Director of Operations at Taliesin Preservation since January 2019. Prior to that, Lara worked as an artist, specializing in oil painting, since 1997. From February 2018 to January 2019, they served as the Visitor Services Manager at Taliesin Preservation Inc. Lara also worked as a Freelance Stylist at Lands End from October 2016 to February 2017 and as a Freelance Assistant Stylist at Lands' End, Duluth Trading Co. from November 2015 to February 2017. Before that, they gained experience as an Assistant Store Manager at Vera Bradley from August 2012 to August 2015, and as a Personal Shopper at Anthropologie from June 2010 to 2012. Lara started their professional career as a Copy Chief for a newspaper called L.S. Ayres and Co from June 1988 to January 1992.

Lara Stroud completed their high school education at Shattuck-St. Mary's High School from 1975 to 1979. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History at Denison University, which they successfully obtained from 1979 to 1983. Additionally, in 1981 and 1982, Lara studied French Studies at La Sorbonne.
