Luke Cartlidge has over 10 years of work experience. From 2010 to 2019, they worked as an Ecological Consultant, carrying out protected species and habitat assessments for several environmental consultancies in North East England. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Research Technician at Durham University, where they used molecular biology techniques to create gene expression datasets, analysed data and presented findings at research meetings. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Senior Research Technician at Newcastle University, where they used GPS surveying equipment, GIS software and Python data visualisation libraries to collect and analyse crop data.
