Talisker Club
Clem Gelas has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Clem began their career at Talisker Club in 2008 as a Chef de cuisine before becoming an Executive Chef in 2010. In 2011, they joined WALDORF ASTORIA PARK CITY as the Executive Chef until 2014. Clem then worked as the General Manager at Talisker on main from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015, Clem has been with Talisker Club again, holding various roles such as Director of Food and Beverage, Clubhouse Manager, and currently the Senior Director of Club Operations.
Clem Gelas attended École Hôtelière Savoie Léman from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management. Additionally, they have received several certifications from the Club Management Association of America. In September 2020, they obtained the BMI Club Management certification. In October 2021, they obtained the BMI Leadership Principles certification. In September 2022, they obtained the BMI Golf Management certification. Lastly, in March 2023, they obtained the BMI COO/GM certification.
