Thomas Gerlach

Thomas Gerlach has had a long and varied career in software engineering. Thomas began their career in 1995 as a Signals Analyst for the US Army. Thomas then moved on to Food Service Solutions Inc. in 2001 as a Senior Developer/Network Admin. In 2004, they became a Software Engineer for Digital Solutions Inc. After that, they were a Software Engineer for Food Service Solutions from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Principal Engineer for Global Tel*Link. From 2013 to 2020, they were the Managing Director/Chief Software Engineer for Talixa Software & Service, LLC. Most recently, they have been an Artificial Intelligence Researcher for Strategic AI Solutions since 2020. Currently, they are the Manager of Product Engineering for KUBRA.

Thomas Gerlach has an extensive education history. Thomas began their studies in 1998 at the National Radio Institute, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Programming. Thomas then attended Ashworth College from 2005 to 2007, earning an Associate of Science in Psychology. In 2010, they obtained a Diploma in Locksmithing from Ashworth College. In 2013, they earned a Diploma in Herbal Medicine from Penn Foster. Gerlach then continued their studies and earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Western Governors University in 2019. Thomas followed this with a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University in 2020. Thomas is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security from Liberty University, which they expect to complete in 2025. Gerlach has also obtained numerous certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL), Social Marketing Certified Professional, User Interface Designer, Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist, CompTIA Project+, Site Development Associate, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Amateur Radio License (Extra Class), HSK-2 (Chinese Proficiency Test), CompTIA PenTest+, CompTIA Security+, Responsible Conduct of Research, and Human Subjects Research.
