Sebastian Rausch has worked in a variety of roles since 1993. Sebastian began their career at Friedrich Weissheimer Malzfabrik as a Product Manager for Special Malz Products, where they led the Maltarom department, managed products and sales, and developed new special malz products. In 1996, they moved to the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung und Marktplanung mbH as a Consultant and Group Leader of Technology Consulting. From 1999 to 2001, they worked at VDI/VDE-IT as a Senior Consultant and Competence Field Coordinator. Sebastian then moved to BSCF as an Investment Manager, where they were responsible for acquiring investment companies, managing portfolio companies, representing the company at shareholder and general meetings, and conducting financing measures for portfolio companies. In 2006, they joined PEPPERMINT. Holding GmbH as an Investment Manager. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Principal at Peppermint VenturePartners GmbH. Sebastian is currently the CFO of Talixo, a booking platform for taxis and limousines.

Sebastian Rausch obtained their Diplom Biochemiker from Freie Universität Berlin between 1980 and 1989. Sebastian then went on to complete their Anfertigung der Diplomarbeit in Kooperation mit der Freien Universität Berlin at the Max-Planck-Institut für Molekulare Genetik from 1987 to 1989. Finally, they achieved their Promotion in Biochemie from Freie Universität Berlin between 1989 and 1993.
