Shilpa Jain

Shilpa Jain has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Shilpa is currently the CEO & Co-founder of Talk Your Heart Out (TYHO) since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Officer at the Magistrates' Court of Victoria from July 2018 to May 2019. Shilpa's legal background includes working as a Lawyer at Ashurst, where they completed a one-year graduate program in Intellectual Property, Corporate Transactions, and Tax teams before settling in Corporate Transactions from March 2016 to October 2017. During their time at Ashurst, they also did an eight-month secondment as a Legal Secondee at Mitsui & Co. (Australia) Ltd., where they provided legal counsel on general commercial and M&A matters from August 2016 to March 2017. Shilpa's early work experience includes being a Research Assistant at Melbourne Law School from July 2014 to December 2014, a Volunteer at the Electorate Office of former Commonwealth Attorney General, the Hon. Mark Dreyfus QC MP from March 2013 to November 2013, and an Intern at Straits Law Practice from September 2011 to October 2011. Throughout their roles, Shilpa has gained experience in various legal and research capacities, including drafting legal documents and providing advice on legal issues.

Shilpa Jain pursued their education in a sequential order, beginning in 2007. Shilpa attended the National University of Singapore from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. In 2009, they participated in a Summer Exchange Program at UCLA. Shilpa then proceeded to the University of Melbourne from 2012 to 2014, where they completed a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, focusing on Law.
