Tim Sietman

Tim Sietman is an experienced professional in operations and education, currently serving as Director of Operations and Solutions Advisor at TalkAbroad since August 2020, where assistance is provided to teachers and professors in integrating online conversation practices into their curriculums. Previously, Tim was the General Manager and Co-Owner of Step Ahead Language Services and Consulting from July 2015 to August 2020, overseeing a team in China. Additional experience includes volunteering as Human Resources Co-Lead and Recruiter at Helpful Engineering, and teaching English as a Foreign Language at The High School Affiliated to The People's University of China. Tim's career began at ETS as a Scoring Leader, managing TOEFL raters. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Wright State University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
