Munil Shah

Munil Shah serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Talkdesk since April 2024, leading Product and Engineering teams to innovate Customer Experience through AI. Simultaneously, Munil contributes as an investor/member at GGV Capital and SWAN Venture Fund since 2021 and 2016, respectively. Prior to Talkdesk, Munil held the position of Chief Technology Officer, Cloud at UiPath from 2018 to 2024, where leadership involved overseeing global engineering, security, and SRE teams, resulting in the launch of several market-leading products. Munil's extensive experience includes significant roles at Microsoft, spanning from 1995 to 2018, culminating in a partner-level position as Head of Engineering within the Azure and AI Division. Munil's early career includes engineering roles at AG Communications, contributing to advanced telecommunication projects. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Gujarat University.
