Erin M.

Erin M. has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Junior Frontend Engineer at Talking Medicines. Prior to this, they were a Junior Full Stack Developer at Shaping, where they developed and maintained React Native components, screens, and features for Shaping's upcoming Child Safeguarding application for iOS and Android, as well as creating and maintaining serverless functions, databases, cloud storage and connecting these services via API's in AWS. Erin also implemented JWT authentication using Auth0 for their APIs. Before that, they were a Summer Intern at Coherent Inc., where they developed various programs in Python to help the manufacturing department monitor how long Coherent's lasers are spent in the factory, and designed GUIs using PyQt. Erin M. also worked as a Saltire Scholar at Entrepreneurial Scotland, and prior to that, as an Event Steward at G4S. Additionally, they volunteered for RoboGals while abroad at Queen's University, Kingston, inspiring young girls how exciting and powerful STEM can be.

Erin M. attended the University of Strathclyde from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Engineering and a BSc in Computer Science. Erin also attended Queen's University from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained an MEng in Computer Science.
