Rob Mackean

Rob Mackean has over 30 years of experience in finance and consultancy, currently serving as Principal at Numbersmiths since 1997, providing finance director consultancy to startups and growing tech companies in Scotland. Previously, Rob held key positions such as Non-exec Director at Pneumatrol Ltd, Director at Blackford Analysis Ltd, and CFO at PowerPhotonic Ltd and VeriSIM. Additionally, Rob served as Finance Director at Flexitricity Limited and worked as a consultant for Aquamarine Power. Early career experience includes roles at Voxar and Grant Thornton, where Rob progressed from Trainee to Senior Manager. Rob holds a BCom (Hons) in Business Studies from The University of Edinburgh.
